Our Name: We moved to Maryland in 1980, and decided we needed a kennel name. We live on a site on the Potomac River where the Piscataway Indians once lived, whose name itself means "the blending o the waters". The "pis" ,meaning water was deleted, and we adopted "Cataway" as our kennel name..."The Blending of the Best".
We purchased our first Sheltie in 1962.
